Language Conversation Groups

Are you interested in practicing your language skills? A conversation group is a great way to get practice and build community with others who are also studying the same language!

As part of an initiative to promote language learning, GETSEA and SEALC (The Southeast Asian Language Council) are hosting free conversation groups for undergraduate and graduate students who are learning to speak a Southeast Asian language to practice together.

We hope to offer language groups for the following languages: Burmese/Myanmar, Indonesian, Khmer, Tagalog/Filipino, Thai, and Vietnamese.

We invite you to sign up for our virtual language conversation groups if you are currently an undergraduate or graduate student at a North American institution and have previously taken a Southeast Asian language or are currently taking one.

For more information, see the groups currently running here.
